BACHELOR: MASTERPLAN AND DORMITORY

This project is located in the Masterplan for Grønttorvet. It is a project that wants to challenge the usual corridor living for dormitories. It accommodates 60 students from the media university. The house itself debates the social mediaís influence on modern society by exploiting the visitors of the public spaces and also encourages the people living in the house to expose themselves to make the world aware of their existence. This creates a synergy for the house. The house has public spaces in the bottom part, but offers the visitors a tour through the whole building to give them a view of the city when they reach the roof terraces. Each student unit are located on the terraces to share an open outdoor space and to exhibit themselves in the windows. The units are in two plans to give them a semi-public and private space.
